Computational and Data Science (M.Sc.)

Der Masterstudiengang Computational and Data Science startet voraussichtlich im Oktober 2026.

The KIT Departments of Mathematics intends to establish the Master's degree program Computational and Data Science (M.Sc.) by the winter term 2026/2027, i. e. the program is expected to start for the first time in October 2026.

As for the Master's degree program in Computational and Data Science, we can inform you* that

  • The language of instruction in the Master's degree programm will be English. 
  • In-depth interdisciplinary academic knowledge obtained in a Bachelor's degree program is required and is a prerequisite for admission. Previous knowledge is mandatory in Linear Algebra and Analysis, Mathematics for Computational and Data Science, Computer Science as well as in Sciences, Engineering or Economics.
  • The online application portal will open by mid to late May 2026.
